Outpost rules
Rust already punishes you enough. These exist to keep the fight fair — everything below is enforced by admins with logs, not guesswork.
General Rules
No cheating or exploiting
No scripts, macros, ESP, aimbots, or third-party software. Abusing bugs or unintended game mechanics is also prohibited.
Respect all players
No harassment, racism, hate speech, or excessive toxicity. Play hard, but play fair.
English only in global chat
To keep communication clear for moderation and community cohesion.
Adults only
All players must be at least 18 years old to play on the Dusk till Dawn servers. Expect adult language and content but try to keep it classy.
Team & Group Rules
Adhere to server-specific team limits
No rotating teammates mid-wipe. No alliances between groups. No "friendly neighbors" helping each other during PvP or raids.
No swapping or alt groups
One group per wipe. No cycling players in/out to get around the limit.
No sharing bases or loot across groups
Trading is allowed only through vending machines. Shared compound walls, loot pools, or turrets between groups are not allowed.
Raiding with other groups = rule break
Cross-group raiding or PvP alliances will result in bans.
Gameplay Rules
No stream sniping
Don't use Twitch, YouTube, or similar to gain intel on other players.
Raiding is allowed — respectfully
Avoid excessive offline raids. Do not raid the same group more than once every 24 hours unless they retaliate.
No turret spam or laggy contraptions
Use electricity and turrets responsibly. Admins may remove anything that lags the server.
Leaving before wipe
If you are leaving a server until wipe, you are allowed to remove your base doors and make a public announcement with the location and contents.
Building & Land Use
No monument or road blocking
All monuments and major roads must remain fully accessible.
No building abuse or troll structures
Don't build unnecessary structures to block others, trap players, or hoard land.
Community Expectations
Don't be toxic
PvP is fine. Racism, slurs, or real-life threats are not.
Help keep it chill
It's a private server. Keep the community vibe strong.
Report issues
DM an admin or use the support-tickets channel to report rule-breakers, bugs, or concerns.
Admin & Moderator Rights and Enforcement
- Admins reserve the right to enforce rules at their discretion. Even if something isn't listed, actions that damage server health may still result in bans.
- Admins and Moderators do not play on the servers they moderate and will never abuse power.
- Video/screenshot proof is appreciated when reporting.
- Create a support ticket for a ban appeal. Do not discuss it in any other channel.
